First off, as had been said for a while, he is correct. His analysis is from speaking to the players and GM. Sounds like at least some of the players came clean with him. Who knows, he and Atkinson are apparently close. Good chance he told him that there was no direction in the locker room.

He is laying the groundwork for a 3-5 year stint to fix the flyers and then off to happy retirement as a part time analyst.

Said for a while? Where has this been said for a while? Only on this board it has been said. I havent read any articles pertaining to a dysfunction in the locker room. I mean i know on this board we have knowledge but when we call it out its merely speculation. If there are any articles i stand corrected.

I meant on this board, you in particular, have been saying this for a while. For some reason, none of the players had the balls to say it before now. Probably because there was no accountability from the coaches.

I guess its coming out now that Giroux is gone. Nobody really wanted to bring up how bad the locker room has been for years while he was still in there with them.

Tell me about it. I buy the package every year and i can see the Flyers play each of the games with the Devils Isles and ranger for free plus the nationally televised games. Im really only buying it for like 30-35 Flyers games. I also hate the fact that when the games are on ESPN plus its blacked out of the package. Bettman sucks !!!

I had espn+ last year and it was like 6.75 a month. It's the only way I can see the Avs games without ordering direct TV. Even with nhl package there blacked out in my area. Stupid! I was able to watch almost any game other than that . Don't remember any Flyers games being blacked out.

With Disney”s wokeness and a 50% increase in price, I’m not inclined to resubscribe to espn+ I get all the Canes games and have NHL in my cable package so that will just have to do -

I hear ya, it's ridiculous what some of these cable companies do. I had dish and was paying like 148 a month and got no nhl unless I ordered the nhl package, I switched to Hulu because I get the same channels I was watching on dish and was able to add espn+ all for under 85. Price is the main reason I switched.
