Spot on Chy! The WTFC thinking is warped, completely on another planet!
I agree 1,000,000,000,000,000%I was about to post about this as I heard it on the radio this weekend. HTF does Nicolas Deslauriers get a M-NTC for 2 years. Top that off with an AVV $1,750,000 for 4 years. I guess WTFC thinks he can save face when we lose 6-1 because he can say, at least Deslauriers won another fight. The hope to get better within the next few years takes a major hit when this knucklehead is our 7th highest paid forward.
If not it's gotta be top 3.Is this the lowest point in Flyers history?
And have Flyers fans ever been so hopeless?www.broadstreethockey.com
If we are the worst team in the league at seasons end it will be the worst time in Flyers history. If not it's gotta be top 3.
Well at least we'll be good at something this year.If we are the worst team in the league at seasons end it will be the worst time in Flyers history.
Welcome back hope you had a good time!!!!Took a few weeks off for vacation. What a good time to not be paying attention to anything. This team/management is a joke.
Once again we decide to give a player the most years, money, AND on top of that the NMC. It's truly like we never learn. Like giving him the NMC sealed the deal? No one was giving this dude 3 years, let alone 1.25 mil, but we manage to give all 3. What a disaster.
i agree IF they even have a plan it should include specifics.Flyers front office needs to address the outrage - either make a press announcement specifically outlining a multi-year plan OR announce changing out Scott & Fletcher. They cannot just let it stand.
Everyone killing Deslauriers which you should because that was IDIOTIC to give him 4 years at $1.75 but this is a fact from last season:
Deslauriers 8 goals
Frost 5 goals
As pointed out in my earlier post Deslauriers deal was" IDIOTIC" but yet the cold hard facts are still:And Frost got a 1 year deal at 800k. If Deslauriers got 1 year at 800k nobody would be annoyed about it. Instead he got 4 years, 1.75, and a partial NTC. It's absolutely asinine.
I agree i dont think Ed Snyder would approve of what has been going on since his passing. And Awaz, asinine (although completely appropriate) is putting it mildly, IMO. These people are so dissociated from any logical sense or business acumen that a second grader could make better decisions and the bottom-line result is a complete destruction of a once-proud and prominent Hockey organization that Mr. Snyder would have a heart attack if he saw the shape it is in today!
