At least tickets will be cheap next year.So we overpay a decent fighter who cant really play. At least he can protect our good players. Now if we can get some good players, we are in business. Welcome Nicolas Deslauriers!
It may be a good place to go if you are looking to head somewhere quiet and read a book. The library is another option, but they don't sell beer!At least tickets will be cheap next year.
Good lordThe winner for quote of the years goes to:
General manager Chuck Fletcher said the Flyers believe Deslauriers' physical, imposing game could open things up for their offensive forwards.
"There was a pretty aggressive market for him," Fletcher said. "Players like Nic Deslauriers are hard to find. He's a guy that we like, we think he moves feel, he forechecks well, he's a player that has a pretty good understanding of the defensive side of the game."
The agony of defeatI listened to Chuck’s press conference and the guy just sounds defeated. It’s like he just learned this week that the retool wasn’t going to work and just pulled back, signed a couple guys that will be the bad kind of entertaining, and will hope that will put enough butts in the seats to save his job. He spent half the time talking about getting better on D and it’s the same group except they added Deangelo who is the worst actual defender on the roster.
What on earth did they think they would be able to do when they held that press conference in January about retooling quickly?
Not the worst thing in the world to miss out on Gaudreau. At least it doesn’t prolong the suffering. And signing guys like Deslaurius who have a case to be the worst player in the league will help the tank. But damn, what a miss that January press conference was.
Sadly this is the next thing to be looking forward to. I think draft is in June next year. See you then !And with the first pick in the 2023 draft the Flyers select.......
Even this the best odds, we won't win the lottery and pick first. And with the first pick in the 2023 draft the Flyers select.......
We made everyone's loser list. We are the best at something. Not that we needed to be told this, but there’s a reason Fletcher’s picture is front and center on this article

and the JVR contract just keeps on giving.Awas, lasgop, purdue, chy, maverick, wbon, and others have this nailed. WTF Chuck hates somebody real bad to pull worse-than-Hextall shit in the span of three days. This Douchebag is pushing the yoke hard to the dashboard while smiling as he ran this dying ship directly nose-first into the ground. Good grief, the Flyers are the league's shithole, dumpster fire extraordinaire.
Were still paying Bryzgalov for a couple more years maybe we could use him.I don't k
Fletcher says they'll just pull random fans out of the stands every few games.Does anyone know who our back up goalie is??
