Charlestown Chiefs - I will get my hockey fix by watching Slap Shot weekly.

I'll be watching the Flyers occasionally. Once football starts, I meander over to the Rams page but I'll be back around occasionally just to see if this mess remains so or if there are glimmers of hope that can be used to build on.

Im sticking with the Flyers as we dont know that they will be bad yet. That's why they play the games. They may surprise us and finish middle of the pack.

Im good with any other team winning the cup besides Ottawa and the Rags of course.

I’ll still watch the Flyers - turning off the games if they become unbearable - but I do think with Tortellini behind the bench they will be watchable.

Since the Canes are the closest team to me, and Bally Sports televises all the games - I’ll be a partial Caniac. Doesn’t hurt that Brind ‘amor is behind the bench.

I couldn't care less that the team take on the personality of the city. WTF does that even mean ? No-offense to Avs fans (ha ha) but the Avs do not have the pot smoking, tree hugging personality of their 'city'... Bolts aren't a bunch of northern retirees.....

Pick a damn philosophy for your team (which we've pointed out he winning options on this board many times) and stick with it. If you have players that don't fit, or don't want to fit - they go, and are replaced with those who do.

Frost, Tippett and Noah Cates did look good at the end. Hopefully Tippett and Cates become finishers. For a full season, Cates was on a 25 goal pace and Tippett about 16. Hopefully they can grow in spite of what happens this year.

I agree, I know Tippett was only on pace for about 16 but he could've had a lot more goals. He hit posts, had breakaways and just some bad luck. It would be nice if both of them can develop at least we would be moving forward instead of backward.

Sad thing is, if he shows signs of good development, he'll be traded for lesser talent.
