Anybody with superstar upside isn’t getting traded during their rookie contract. Wemby is on another level in terms of value until he has time to prove otherwise.

Wish the Sixers could get in on this with the Harris expiring and Maxey. Caruso and LaVine for Harris Maxey, a 1st in 2029 would be a great situation for the Sixers. Although, as in most cases, on the open market, Chicago can likely do better than that unless they really like Maxey in their rebuild.

Untradeable. Way too risky.

If he gets anywhere close to what people think he can be any GM who sends him packing loses his job.

Plus, rookie salary is so low.

And if he is good right away the team you trade him too vaults up the standings and reduces the value of their future picks.
