If that’s what they’re doing that would mean they’re committing to Harden. Harden Kawhi Maxey with D’Antoni might be intriguing but they won’t win anything because Kawhi will always be hurt.

Might as well keep Embiid and let Harden walk and then use the cap you get back on Tobias Harris coming off the books next summer

Wish the Sixers could get in on this with the Harris expiring and Maxey. Caruso and LaVine for Harris Maxey, a 1st in 2029 would be a great situation for the Sixers. Although, as in most cases, on the open market, Chicago can likely do better than that unless they really like Maxey in their rebuild.
