Kind of close to home for me.

Interesting because the head of Virginia High School League who was quoted in the article used to work in my school division as an admin.

I witness some horrific behavior by a coaching staff at his school. They (coaches and players) were mercilessly heckling a 16 year old girl who used to play for their team, but chose to transfer to the private school where I helped coach boys.

The girl was absolutely crushed that her “friends” would treat her like that, and they were clearly being directed by the coaches.

I told an acquaintance who was AP at his school about what went down, and a couple hours later I got a call from the man himself doing nothing but making excuses for his coaches.

I was not impressed.
