But, I wouldn’t take Luka over Giannis.

So, kinda ass backwards to take Dame over Davis.

Freezing rain and ice in the south today, not sure what the issue is in DC? Seems sunny and clear? Their last game was Monday in Dallas.

Dallas had a major ice storm, they must have hung around instead of flying out after the game

Take away their franchise guys…

You could put Luka on any of the 4 and off you go.

You put Giannis on the Lakers or Knicks and you are fucked.

Dude, I would even take Plumlee at this point.

My wishlist, sans Turner, are Naz, Hartenstein, Gifford, Plumlee…

We are shopping in two different aisles. You’re looking for a 20-25 minute player. I’m just looking for a body that isn’t a target when Embiid leaves the game. I like Drummond because dude is an elite rebounder and the Sixers need help on the glass as a team. Harrell is horrible as a rebounder. He can steal 1-2 o rebounds in 12-14 minutes but he’s shit on the defensive glass. Ironically, because he’s so ass vs pick and roll getting beat all the time he should be there chasing to clean up any misses and yet you’ll see too many nights he has 0 or 1 rebound.

Not sure if I mentioned it before, but I have an irrational level of sports hate for this man in every single way. I will dance the day he is offices out of the rotation.

AD has all the talent in the world.

But, not sure about his motor or pain tolerance.

If you swapped Dame with Davis would the Lakers be better or worse?

That Dude’s range would offset the majority of bricks your team launches.

But, in fairness…that switch would make Portland better too.

That’s something I’ve wondered about him because I had a front row seat for the Iverson years in Philly. It started with everyone being critical of the Sixers in not getting him a running mate. But after attempt after attempt to pair him with a complimentary pseudo star not a single one worked out. The only thing that worked was letting AI shoot 30-35 times a night surrounded by 4 defense first guys who could live on 4-6 shots a game plus Aaron McKie off the bench to be the secondary scorer. It could be that Luka is a similar guy in being unable to pair him up with another star.

The fact that Luka does so as essentially a combo forward only complicates the matter IMO. That much ball dominance by a forward really puts you in 3&D territory at PG, SG, and the other starting forward. The Lebron James path is not easy, and he's lost a lot of finals despite being a GOAT candidate. Of course, we're talking rich people problems instead of what most of the league faces, but still...

I'm sure there's a team out there that's willing to give him a starting spot and a larger contract, but if his ego gets in the way of things we might have another Dennis Schroeder situation from a few years ago...
