You would trade Shake?

Yep. There has to be a reason for the Bulls to want to do this. They don't want to give Caruso away. They take a swing at the growth and development of three young players in Thybulle BBall Paul and Shake. They are not under contract for much longer either so there isn't any long-term commitment to them. In the case of Shake, what he brings becomes redundant when you decide to bring Maxey off the bench. Shake's best version of himself is an instant offense guy off the bench. Maxey plays that role better with a guy that can still give you 28-30 minutes.

Caruso would be a nice add but damn....you lose some guys in that trade. I really like all 3. Reed is a guy who is great off the bench as an energy guy. Thybulle is a defensive guy and Shake gives you scoring.

Someone what related, heard an interesting stat during the game last night....Lakers have a top 8 record since their 2-10 start?

Ha! It’s likely net offensive rating minus net defensive rating. It shows they were clicking on all cylinders and that their 9-5 month could be less anomaly and more who they are going forward if they can stay healthy.

Nah, those are advanced stats, only for nerds. Only points scored and the defensive eye-test count!

Win or lose February 12th, it’s been a great season. Only one team closes the deal. There’s no shame in losing to a team like the Chiefs. My biggest goal for this season has already been realized. The Eagles have certainty at the QB position and that question about that all important position has gotten and overwhelmingly great answer.

Yeah I posted this a while back but in 2010 the Thunder went 52-30 and only got the 8 seed.
