This is Mobley's "sophomore slump".

He's averaging slightly more pts, rebs, asts. His FG% is up & his FT% is up from last season. He's also taking slightly less shots than last season, 12.0 last season & 11.3 this season.

The person that said that is a complete dumbass and has had Cleveland issues for multiple years now. So his opinion of Mobley comes with alotta bias.

Sounds about right to me.

He hasn’t plateaued.

But, he has deferred to the backcourt.

And it’s not like I was coming with some crazy genius take. It just makes sense that a younger player would defer to established scoring and instead find other ways to contribute.

Bosh deferred to Bron and Wade and it’s seen as noble.

Mobley does it and his growth is stunted.
