Still VERY early but it seems like homecourt would be a huge advantage for the Cavs. Best in basketball. Obviously anything can happen and it’s a long season though

Probably.

He might get a bit more. Might take less to play where he wants to play (maybe Cleveland).

But everything I said about Love over the years was spot on. And the moment Gilbert signed him to that extension he turned Love from a tradeable asset to a liability.

It has worked out in the long run because the team turned things around much faster than anyone could have imagined and Love is playing a valuable role today.

But like you said, he ain’t worth anywhere close to what he is getting paid.

But If I did, it was when the Cavs were trying to trade him years ago and absolutely nobody had any interest.

Situation has changed.

They do have a better roster but they are still young. Poole isn't leading a bunch of youngsters to wins. They have good pieces around their main core...the Lakers don't have good pieces around their core. The Lakers and Warriors should make a move, the W's have less desperation though.
