Not sure what happened but he is on the pre and postgame. don't want to rip the guy but for sure I prefer Fratello (or Daugherty)

Ran across an article from three days ago. Incensed Cavs fans ask where Austin Carr is, complain about broadcast without him

Part of the article says John Michael calls the play by play. And it's rotating group on analysts- Carr, Daugherty & Fratello. Serena Williams is the sideline reporter.

I like when Carr & Daugherty work together. And how tall is Fratello, about 4-5?

@dtgold88 @Shanemansj13 and anyone else...

what do you guys think the plan is with Kevin Love long and short term?

he has a 30 million dollar expiring contract that could be interesting to bring in some other guys.....but he seems important to the team and is a very good shooter/rebounder/passer off the bench. Most importantly he seems to be a good veteran leader which they need.

Would you trade him to get a long term SF if possible? keep him and resign him? try and just let him go- and have Dean Wade replace him? I do think they are grooming Wade to take over the stretch 4 role off the bench.
wondered this myself and from a certain answer.

With no LM I think he is needed even more this season for his shooting as a big. Depending how good the longterm SF was, though, for sure I'd have to consider dealing him.

I think what I might do first is take his temperature on an extension. Obviously shorter and for a lot less per season. If he's open to that I might just extend him (something like 2 years, $10-15 mil?).

Agree on Wade but not sure he's much more than a decent role player.

Mitchell sure is playing really well but there will be a definite adjustment when Garland returns.

How they play together will be interesting.
totally.

I have heard multiple Cavs reporters say that the silver lining of Garland being out is that it is letting Mitchell get comfortable with the Cavs before he really has to adjust when Garland comes back.

it is definitely going to take some time.......

there are only so many shots. Letting LeVert get comfortable has also been important. Cavs are going to have a lot of scorers once Garland comes back.

Its nice that Mobley and Allen do not necessarily need the ball and can get some of their own shots--- eventually you will want to feature Mobley but not yet.

should be an adjustment but cannot imagine they are not better off with Garland playing. Maybe a lot better. If nothing else wont need to play Mitchell crazy minutes.

I do like Daugherty however they can get him on the broadcast...yes, Fratello is very short. also his hair used to remind me of Mauser from Police Academy.

right. Mitchell is playing a lot of minutes thus far and a lot of high intensity minutes since hes been playing point a lot.

It will be interesting.

I dont think Garland is playing tonight.

That was soooooooooo bad.
Yeah.

That trade gave up 3 picks and a pick swap to get to the 2nd round.

Both players were gone 2 years later.

Those 3 picks turned into Smart, Brown and Tatum.

Bucks trade Dirk for Tractor fucking Trailer.

Seattle traded Pippen for Polynice.

Charlotte trades Kobe for Vlade.

Those are just the shit off the top of my head….lol

This isn’t even the worst trade the Clippers have made.

Baron Davis to the Cavs with the pick that turned out to be Kyrie.

He’s crazy.

But, that was goddamn horrible.

He shit the bed with some of those other picks.

Released some a year after picking them.

But, can you really complain when he was the architect for what they are now?

Its early.

But, the nonsense that’s going on in Utah just reinforces that theory and buys him a ton of good will with the franchise and fans.

That team looks like a bunch of spare parts on paper.

They sure don’t play like it….lol

Funny part?

Sexton doesn’t even play 20 mpg.

Yeah, and I doubt he is there in 3-4 years when they are good.
