But, will Clarkson?

I thought he’d be one of the first guys gone.

But, they are talking about extending him.

Not sure I’m buying that.
I think Ainge trades Clarkson, Conley, Markkanen and maybe Sexton or Beasley.

Plenty of time lol, they got to sell some tickets first
They SHOULD be tanking for 1 more Season.

But, was that really their plan before Chet got hurt?

If they truly wanted to bottom out, why pay Dort?

I think people are projecting and made assumptions.

Dunno how many more SGA doubtful- Wenbeyanna jokes the internet has left in them.

Dunno.

They have thirteen 1st round picks.

Lauri is probably their hottest asset.

But, at what point is enough enough?

Scoot is one hell of a consolation prize.

But, can you name a single franchise that would trade out of first if the Jazz offered something stupid like….six 1sts?

I can’t.

This kid is seen as once in a lifetime like Lebron, Magic.

At some point, he’s gonna get stuck like he did in Boston.

They are way to good right now.

So, he will trade some of those guys.

Not sure if it will be all of them.

You may be right....but if they acquire a lot....they could always trade 3-4 1st rounders for next disgruntled player....and if they have a solid core....they could trade for a few stars.

No problem if they have a deep stockpile of picks.

Presti is riding the edge of keeping people interested. OKC is not a city that will keep coming regardless. Paying Dort was just the right thing to do, he has been identified as a very key piece of a very good team going forward. Last night showed why, they just have to have enough offense where he doesn’t have to shoot a lot. I still expect a decent lottery pick, but SGA is ready to do his thing and they have to let him.

No doubt.

Its not like they have all those picks to use in the next 2 years.

They are spread thru 2029.

Danny gets a A+ for this overhaul.

He was ready last year.

But, getting Chet will be worth it.

Dort’s shooting can improve and his role will be different when you have a healthy roster.

Charlotte trades Kobe for Vlade.

To be fair to Charlotte...Vlade was pretty darn good and Kobe was coming out of high school. I think Jerry West was the only one who saw what Kobe would become.

For sure, it’s already started showing. Dort is a very good free throw shooter so there is hope but is streaky otherwise. Last night was unreal, down 16 with 5 minutes enter Isaiah Joe. Just a Presti move, he had always liked the guy and pounced on him when the Sixers dropped him. He earned some minutes. Our Santa Clara guy came back last night too, he is just mature beyond his years.

No doubt.

But, looking at it from a historical point of view after their careers are said and done?

Horrible…..lol

Shit, the trade that got you worthy was pretty bad as well.

The Lakers? They had to trade Jones to let Kobe be able to start. And Kobe's legacy went from there.
