Soooooooooooooo....

This should be trending shortly.

Dave is a mega lebron dick rider though. He flat out said "kawhi hasn't played in two years". Uhh dude, it has been 1 year actually my guy.

Nice choice in men there, malika andrews. (sarcasm).

Anyways, i like your avatar buddy. You'll be one of my main friends here. The clippers are going all the way this year. Kawhi owned Curry in 2013 and 2019 playoffs, he'll do it again this year. Curry only has 1 finals mvp and i'm supposed to worship the guy, tell his fans to beat it.

think about it. what has Anthony Davis done outside of the bubble during his lakers run? needs to shave his damn eyebrows, maybe that will help him. His body can't handle the grinding schedule of a season\playoff run (bubble virus season had huge gap) and his brain can't handle fans telling him to shave his f'n unibrow.

last year - no playoffs
year before - 1st round exit (17 on 40% FG)

Overrated clown. Try hitting a game 7 buzzer beater with a 7"8 wingspan in your face in front of a full arena like kawhi did in 2019.

No threat in the west to the clippers, outside of warriors. I don't see Jamal Murray carrying Jokic's fatass again.

As currently constructed?

Under.

Because, everyone outside of the Spurs and Jazz got better out West.

Even the damn Kings and OKC.

Not many gimme games in either conference outside of Indy and Utah.

Utah has enough odd pieces to be able to play spoiler here and there.
such a bad and weird offseason

how could PElinka look at this roster and think that Pat Beverly and Lonnie Walker and a bunch of underdogs without the required talent like pippen jr., ryan, nunn, reeves, etc. could possibly be enough?

ughhhh.....before the season is over in LA- something major is going to happen

Bottom line right now the Lakers have literally only 3 players that matter. LeBron, AD, Westbrook. That's not enough to do damage in this league.

They may win tonight but just look at the box score. It's those 3 and a roster of who? and meh.

Been saying it all offseason

Harden looking to make a lot of people eat some crow this season.

I watched the game.

Harden got his numbers for sure.

But the offense ran through him to an alarming degree forgoing Embiid too much.

That is not a good thing for Philly long term.

Didn’t see the game but too many damn points. Saw the Celtics had 24 fast break points. Unacceptable. Also, I hated Embiid’s line. Looked lazy with a 1-6 3 pt showing. I don’t care about the percentage. I care about him taking 6 of them and only 18 shots. Not worried obviously, Embiid always seems to start slow. Not much at all from the bench.
Embiid looked disengaged from the offense IMHO.

AD fucked me over on my parlay. Did a SGP+ on the 2 games last night.

$4 bet to win $640

Went 15-1

The 1 thing i missed on was AD soft ass not grabbing 8 rebounds. Bron somehow was able to grab 14 and Russ got 11 but he couldn't get 8 lol

Celtics guard him with Noah f'n Vonleh for much of the game and Embiid hoists up six 3's. :tsk:

It'll be interesting to see if the 76ers coalesce into an actual team or are more a collection of a talented parts. A lot of individual excellence, of course... but that wasn't an encouraging opening night, and Philly got torched on the defensive end.

What I saw was a lot of Harden dribbling and creating like he did in Houston.

Sounds good in theory, but it really isn’t.

There were some possessions in there where the ball really moved, but for the most part the offense was stagnant.

Embiid, Maxey and Harris all need to be more involved and Harden needs to facilitate more, dominate the ball less.

Embiid is traditionally a slow starter. They didn’t give him much preseason run. It’s going to take them time to co-exist. Ironically, if they figure it out, this thing should like they’re running 3 or 4 distinctive offensive attacks that they run through the first two quarters and then that gets paired down to a key way of attack in the 2nd half with a change up off of it to keep the defense honest. The bigger problem would be Harden can’t be that guy he was last night. Looked like that guy was never going to show up in a Sixers uniform. They will get this figured out.

More disconcerting for me was the defense. They can’t be giving up 126 a night. The transition D must have been an issue. That was an issue last year as well. They improved their bench and yet they didn’t get much from their bench at all last night. I hate Doc Rivers propensity to do hockey line changes and throw up 4-5 subs to all play at once. He needs to stagger better. It also bothers me that Harrell is a Sixer. He’s a Fucking dog that has no role in the playoffs. He’s a shitty defensive piece. I hated it when they made the move. Still hate it today. BBall Paul gets a DNP last night. That can’t be.

My timing is pretty shitty. I’m counted on to go on these retreats with school four times a year. So here I am away from home Tuesday-Friday. I’m missing Phil’s Game 1 and Game 2 and Sixers Celtics and Sixers Bucks. I’m hoping God respects my sacrifice for these kids and he smiles upon me with some dubbs. Harper Schwarber and Wheeler came through for me last night. I’ll trade a Celtics L in the first of 82 in exchange for a Phil’s game 1 NLCS road win 11 out of 10 times haha.

...and he started at the 5.

Had a good offensive night though.

AD played 36 minutes and only got 6 rebounds. Juan Toscano-Anderson played 14 minutes and got 3 rebounds. I think that's funny.
