There is no true capThe current cap hasn’t been kept up with inflation
The owners don’t want a reasonable cap
Gtfo with that bullshit

Imagine how mlb would look playing one game per week so the Astros could throw verlander every game.
That’s what the nfl is
There is no true cap
Baseball still has more revenue than basketball but there is no reason to expect it to go up.They have a tax line that basically only a few teams will go past and no one does the warriors bit
But based on similar numbers to how the nba and nfl do jt plus inflation?
That number should be around 300m and a 90% floor (similar to other sports) means the floor should be 280m
I think the players would take that

Good luck. Not sure what their rotations will look like yet. My guess is that they’re in love with Melton and the way he fits and rounds them into form defensively. I think their closing group with a lead:Did a sgp on celtics/sixers @fightinfunbags
It wouldn't just be for the Warriors dude. If the cost to retain homegrown players was lower, more teams would. It wouldn't happen overnight.Don't see it happening. Why would the rest of the league agree to help the team that put itself in this situation with a brand new shed that the rest can't get built? Pretty crappy to expect relief after essentially bragging that you don't need it.
Most franchises have made decisions not to retain homegrown players due to cost. Just because the Warriors had the money to ignore that risk to this point, they should get relief? Strongly disagree.
LmfaoNot sure anyone involved with the Celtics should use "Fuck 'em" as a motto just yet......too soon?

Yeah, 2 more years of Draymond is likely in the cards.
Mayne more if his market is desolate.

Woj: Draymond Green likely to exercise his contract option
Green, however, is unlikely to decline his $27.5 million option. “For Draymond Green with that $27.5 million option next season, he almost assuredly is going to exercise that,” said Adr…hoopshype.com
No reason for any turmoil, he has 2 more years in the bank. At his age that isn’t bad. His play will dictate what he gets after that.I think this is two fold. He's likely opting in because it is likely the highest price point he would get on the open market. But also a lot of people are making it seem like Draymond wants out, and I think the opposite is true. He wants to remain a Warrior, but at the same time he also wants to be paid. If he plays out this season and next season without a hitch, I think he would like to remain with the team. There's not many opportunities for a trio with the success him, Steph and Klay have to all potentially end their careers together. Steph we know for sure is locked in. Klay, there's a good chance he remains as well. Dray is the unknown piece.
Let's just say by chance the Warriors happen to win another title in the next 2 years, with Draymond being an integral piece to the team again. Do they simply just let him walk? Or would there be some sort of deal that could be made to have him respectfully paid and have him remain with the team. Maybe a 3 year 50M deal?
Time will tell, but I think based on what happened with Poole there's been a lot of overreaction to Draymond wanting out. I think he wants to stay, and that is the real internal turmoil he has.

Lol, anyone would know what is going on. Him admitting to himself that he will be the odd man out is smart, but it doesn’t mean he is going to get anything that wouldn’t be good for the franchise. This is his year to show he isn’t falling off a cliff. There's a reason that people have been saying he wants an extension. It's because he can see how the chess pieces on this board are moving. Even before the extensions for Poole and Wiggins, anyone could tell that the Warriors were going to have to make some decisions in the future that are financially based. Draymond's got a good IQ when it comes to that sort of stuff. He knows what is going on.
IVEY AT THE 2 WONT WORK HES A LEGIT POINT GUARD I THINK IVEY SHOULD BE PART OF THE SECOND UNITIvey and Cade gotta get on same page. Cade is off to the same slow start he had last year. Hopefully just preseason stuff but I'm doubting it.
I’m soooooo ready for tonight!
@wildturkey , make sure you do your pick ‘em, if you haven’t already.
I owe you a ass whipping from 3 years ago.
