The nets will be fine in the long run...not a title contender but solid

Marks does a good job of drafting
They aren't going to be awful, but .500 or so IMO.

Not this season, but going forward. For a few seasons unless they can land another star.

I knew the Lakers had gotten younger, but I just read that Lebron is now the only player on the team who's over 30.

It still sucks.

It is like they forget these guys are real people.

Criticize his play and his fit all you want. That is fair game.

Just keep it professional. Personal attacks against athletes, refs, whoever are just completely out of line.

It is just a game after all.

I agree that nothing more needed to be said once he was traded, but I read this morning that things had reached the point that if the Lakers didn't get him traded, they were going to send him home.

In the way too early reactionary response to the trade (and before seeing the new guys play together).....

It'd be great to see the Suns vs the Lakers in WCF.

:dhd:

Yeah, the last game he played was the breaking point. Ham had done everything he could to fit RW in and to have RW yelling at him was just unacceptable. And I am not saying Ham has been a great HC.

And I think that is why AD looked like somebody had kicked his dog.

I think that was purely for on court changes right? I think he was a bit of a scapegoat, you can’t bring in a guy like that and not expect him to go full on all the time. Colossal mistake.

They moved the picks and returned some talent.

I will give him credit for that.

Think they could have done better (specifically Turner and Hield), but they got better at the deadline with the kind of deal it looked like they were unwilling to make.

Still shocked they got through all those deals and still have that 2029 pick after dealing with Ainge. Maybe waiting out Ainge until deadline week was a factor, or the other offers for those players were underwhelming?

The protections on the 2027 are unique (to me anyway), top 4 protected that reverts to a same-year 2nd if not conveying.

Apparently, it wasn't just Ham either. I guess he got into it with assistant coach Phil Handy too.

AD is already speaking up for Westbrook.

Didn't know that. And that's worse than Ham IMO. He the HC but Handy is one of the most respected assistant coaches in the League.

Not sure why he hasn't got a job yet......if Ham fails.....I bet Handy takes over for the Lakers.

Thanks, just saw something about that.

AD was pissed they were losing.
If that’s true that’s a good thing, but he needs to learn how to look pissed lol

New story: Anthony Davis was asked about his body language during LeBron James’ historic moment on Tuesday. “I was pissed off that we were losing,” Davis said. “It’s that simple” es.pn/3xelsqY4:33 AM

They should've done that yesterday lol.

This front office gets an D from me on this

Moving kyrie was a decent start but you have an incredibly imbalanced roster

What's your direction here

They mucked everything up by moving Kyrie too early. If they were going to move Durant ultimately for 3 wings, the pcs for Kyrie should've been different (or more picks and expirings than controlled players?). Those two trades don't fit under one plan really. They were flying by the seat of their pants and kinda crapped them in the process, then didn't do anything yesterday to clean up the mess.

The problem wasn't that he goes full on all the time, the problem was that he's not a smart player and refused to work on anything. As he's gotten older he's just become a worse, less athletic version of the same guy he's always been.

Just in the 20 games that AD was out, they lost 4 games that were directly attributable to his mistakes.

Feel pretty damn good right now. Rob made some nice moves and I have a few days off.

First warning to y'all.........my PPM's about to be lit the next 2 days.

PS: To the uninformed, @Mecca coined this phrase years ago on FN when I had like 300k comments in like 8 years.....
