I wonder if KD would want to return to OKC...they have the combo of a lot of picks and youngsters the Nets could be interested in. They could use a veteran.....they are really young.

I honestly can't remember how his tenure ended there....so forgive me in advance if it's not possible.
Lot of hurt feelings, all that stuff. There is talk of this and the Thunder absolutely could make it happen. Prestis not blowing up this group though.

Didn’t end great with him joining the Dubs.

But, seems like most of the animosity was coming from the media.

Most basketball fans can be forgiving if it’s in the best interest of the franchise winning.

…..he left.

He didn’t murder any women or children.

yah- I do not want to trade Okoro unless its a clear upgrade.

He still has potential- only 22, can play D.....

a lot of guys shots dont come around early in their careers. Ithinki t would be a mistake to give up on him----having said that-I can see the Cavs trade him.

What deal I hope for now?

send Love to Charlotte for Hayward. Would be perfect. Charlotte gets cap relief and not paying Hayward's last year- Cavs get a 3 that can play.
They don't owe this to Love but might ask him what he wants. does he want to not play much and hang with this group rest of season or go where he can play.

If he chooses the latter, I could see him getting bought out and then going where he wants in your scenario.

The Thunder are a good young team. KD to them in the summer would be interesting.

Not sure what the Thunder would trade as far as salary but they have picks....that is for sure.

I just don’t see it, but like everything it’s in the details. I would say the Thunder would deem both Williams as off limits.

I love how you guys went throw throwing him over the edge overrating him in a matter of weeks lol

But i agree it’s not an ideal fit. Idk why you guys would want grant anyway
Not sure who said throwing him over the edge.....but the guy was beyond bad first month of season. Also not sure who is overrating him. Not exactly overrating Okoro by saying you wouldn't deal him for Grant Williams.

That said, if FO thinks it works have at it....I trust them.

It would take a third team moving some salary to make it all work. I really think it’s a non starter though.

Ah….

You think he’s worth 20 mil?

I know you didn't ask me but don't ask me. :heh: I don't follow contracts or stuff like that.

But I looked up which current players are making 20m a season, or close.

-Jerami Grant (Blazers) $20,955,000

-Mikal Bridges (Suns) $20,100,000

-Jarrett Allen (Cavs) $20,000,000

-Aaron Gordon (Nuggets) $19,690,909

-Tim Hardaway Jr. (Mavs) $19,602,273

All those player listed are double digit scorers. Williams has never averaged double digits. But he's also started the fewest number of games. Obviously his scoring would go up if he went somewhere he could start. I hope he doesn't go anywhere.

I just don't see how they can use all the picks....seems like they would have to use them to trade for somebody at some point.

Oh they definitely will, don’t think it will be KD though.
