They could’ve extended him before the year at 4/55

Brunson admitted he would’ve taken it.

But dallas didn’t go that high so he played it out and got paid
They really screwed the pooch.....LOL.

Okoro starting to play some good ball...........kids just turned 22 last week. I would not give up on him too early unless they can get like a Josh Hart.

To recall, Dallas didn’t offer the 25-year-old an extension last summer due to his playoff struggles against the Los Angeles Clippers. But when he started thriving last January, the team came calling to give him a $55 million extension. According to Brunson, though, it was “too late” and he was in position to explore the free agent market for a potentially larger deal.

“By then, it was too late. The business came knocking at the door. It was time to at least look. I had to do my due diligence and look,” Brunson explained.

Iirc that was pretty close to the max they could offer him

Which amount to what?

Keep putting 6 seed caliber rosters around Luka with no real effort to improve on that and he will walk.

This trade sends a message to their superstar that they are trying to do better.

The Lakers should be taking notes.
So you think a Kyrie rental is worth more the 3 players that got to them to the WCF plus the picks? How does Luka feel when this blows up on their faces? He gone.

They’re talking when he was first eligible for an early extension. He probably would have taken it and quickly out performed the extension.
Ahh forgot about that. I mean the same could be said about a lot of different scenarios. Cavs traded Mark away then he became an all-star. Both are #1’s on their team. Much different situation but STILL that was a bargain for Brunson

And?

PICKS, PLURAL, MORE THAN ONE….
There was another report that both picks, Christie, Reaves etc were all on the table if Kyrie would sign a 2 year extension. More entertaining to point and laught though...

Win the damn game
These non Embiid minutes are killing me. Teams don’t hesitate to go to the hole. Layups or fouls or drive and kick open threes. They need a back up big in the worst way. I swear to God I’m getting trolled. Boban. Greg Monroe. Paul Milsap. DeAndre Jordan. MonTrashZel.

I wouldn’t trade LeVert for Hart. I wouldn’t trade Okoro for Hart. Hart adds nothing the Cavs don’t already have
