Wall hasn't turned out as hoped has he? And I think Conley would be a great addition for your Clippers.

Wall has regressed to a league average player at best.

His passing is the only thing he is above average at.

He was never a "good" shooter but his athleticism was next level. Legs are old now and he isn't the crafty vet that extends a career.

Wall can’t shoot, isn’t healthy, has lost a step and doesn’t do anything on the defensive end.

So, basically…..everything @tlance said was correct.

Only saving grace is next year is a team option.

So, maybe Ainge or another team will kick the tires as a salary dump if nothing else.

Damn.

He'd look good in purple 'n gold.

I would pay to see that.

But, I assume they’d be getting Westbrook.

* pauses *

Still bad, in a different way and I would also pay to see that…lol

I don't know...Pop might be good for Westbrook.

Folks can say whatever they want about him (and I have), but dude shows up and plays hard every game. Pop can at least respect that enough to try to work with it. lol

This entitled mother fucker wants his cake, ice cream and jello too.

Good for the Lakers.

According to a source with knowledge of the Lakers’ discussions with Brooklyn [for Kyrie Irving], a significant obstacle emerged in the early stages of the talks between the Lakers and the Nets. The source, who was granted anonymity because of the sensitivity of the situation, said the Lakers were only looking to give the Nets the kind of return they’re requesting if Irving was willing to accept the two-year, $78.6 million extension they could immediately agree on as part of the deal..

You can’t trust this fucking guy to honor his contract.

Which is why you don’t give him a 4 year deal.

How does he not see this?

This is just more proof it's all about Kyrie. Any team that trades him will have to deal with his it's about me, not about the team selfish attitude.

...another option for a Nets/Lakers 3 (or 4?) team deal, but only if Kyrie will accept a shorter term contract.

As far as the 2 firsts, the stumbling block is ownership. Can't imagine Pelinka is too attached to picks that won't be used until after he's gone most likely. They also appear to have a Bev/Walker/picks trade lining up (Trent Jr? Hield?) that could require a 1st if not 2 seconds.

Honestly, I'd be happy if they did Trent Jr. or Hield and called it a day. Maybe 1 additional small, but helpful move if 1 presents itself.

Too much drama with Kyrie.

Tim Bontemps threw out a trade that I can at least understand for the Nets. Kyrie and Simmons for Westbrook and whatever other contracts that are needed to make the deal work.
Nets just punt on this year? I suppose they might.

That's the part I don't get. Surely his people have explained how these things prevent teams from wanting to pay him max money and years.

That’s what happens when you have family as agent. Either way Kyrie is so stubborn he isn’t listening to anyone. Delusional

That's why the one Westbrook trade I was against was the one when folks were saying "Westbrook for Wall". Why would you trade Westbrook for worse Westbrook? lol

Probably been touched on since you posted but I don't feel like ready 10 pages worth of the thread to catch up, but there's 2 reasons for this. The first being no team wants to give him a 4 year deal because he's nuts and not dependable. But the second is no team can give him a 4 year deal right now. Per the CBA, he's only eligible for a 2 year extension right now. He has to hit free agency to get a 4 year deal and every team is very hesitant to trade a lot of assets knowing he could just walk in FA for any reason. Even if you got a verbal agreement from him, he could still flake on you between now and July for whatever dumbass reason pops into his head.

Yeah I figured it was kind of bad. Oh well, wasn't really lining up to be their year anyway. We gotta let other teams win sometimes :D
Now they can at least right the Dearron Fox wrong for allstar weekend.

Still sucks.

I am a Curry fan.
