They were playing well early w/o ingram and some with Zion but it’s catching up with them. They need those guys back or they are looking at a play-in game

It is just so played out.

People here just have no appreciation for how impossible the job is.

The league needs to change the rules. Human officials just can’t ever be accurate enough to please the masses. It isn’t possible.

Making these calls in real time is so hard. There is always contact. The judgement on when to call vs not call combined with the age old inclination to swallow the whistle at the end of the clock outs these guys in an impossible position.

And the people railing about “how bad the refs are” are just showing off their ignorance.

Talk about the missed call and how it affected the game. Stop saying these people are incompetent. Because I guarantee the replacements would be worse.

Just like the NFL, but a ref in the press box with the replays to correct calls that can be (dead ball).

Terrible take. Sure, the Lakers could have shot better, but when you've got Tatum getting foul shots for getting breathed on wrong at one end and an obvious foul on the potential deciding shot goes ignored on the other, the refs are a problem.

Most of the West is only a few games out of home court lol. It's a real mess.

There is no excuse for making a team lose a potential challenge for being right. None.

Thing is, the Lakers wouldn't have been able to challenge that final play. Can only challenge calls that were made, not ones that were missed. Yet another glaring gap in the review process. Far more missed calls than excessive calls IMO.
