Strike early, lol? Lakers fans have been waiting since the preseason...

At least he doesn't think he's done, lol.

"Early" being a relative term based on there hasn't been much action.

And yeah, glad to see that he said he's not done.

It's a nice story that the kid got some merch and a chance to talk to Butler on the phone, but it speaks to the much larger issue of rest days. How many other fans shelled out money to see players that were ultimately just taking a day off for rest in any given game this year? The more these players make, the more power they wield, the fewer games they play. The fans paying those salaries? Screwed.

Think I'll give my boss a call in the morning and tell him that I'm taking that and Friday off for load management.

I'll let y'all know how that works out.

I’ve been load managing for over 2 years now, I can see why it’s so popular!

Is it still load management if I actually go to work….

But, sit at the computer monitor surfing the web, watching movies for 10 of the 12 hrs I’m here?

Isnt that more of a minutes restriction?

The problem is where are the intelligent analysis? Not on TNT and not on ESPN

I guess maybe NBATV but one of your major channels should provide this

There isn't any. If anyone is watching those types of shows, in any sport, and expecting lots of intelligent analysis, they're wasting their time.

These shows are aimed at the casual fan.

Yeah, you're definitely on a minutes restriction.
