It's weird.

Mike Brown is a defensive coach, but the Kings are giving up about 2 points per game more than last year.

But they are scoring about 10 points more per game than last year.
The whole league is scoring more for some reason.

That being said, LeBron putting up 29.6/8.4/7.0 at age 38 is insane. Do people still think Jordan was obviously better?

No.

Straight up.

Im not giving you any points.
Give me the Lakers +3 and I will give you Portland straight up tonight. They're -5.5. You're saving 2.5 between the 2 games. Please.

Been mad jelly you be accepting SG's bets when he been tagging you and you refuse to give me pts and we have known each other longer.

It really is.

And the smart answer should be no.

3 guys have arguments now, I’ll say that. I’m probably different than most but I don’t care how good you are at 38, I care how good you were at your best. That is how I choose to define greatness. Maybe it’s just me.

I don't think there's any way to definitely say either LeBron or MJ were 'better' but to say one was way ahead of the other is dumb.

It's a fair point, peak vs longevity. It's what makes the arguments fun. That said LeBron's peak in Miami was pretty special, and he's played basically at peak or close to peak level for like 15 years.

Well, if you listen to most on here....."the Lakers have a garbage supporting cast."

Yet, James is still leading them to wins over teams like Denver, Memphis, etc this season.

I’d have to look and see if their pace also increased

But they also didn’t add good defenders

They added monk and a rookie

I think people still think MJ was better, but I don't think most people think he's obviously better anymore.

Even with the rule changes that have happened over the years that favor the offense, what Lebron is doing at his age is amazing.

Kareem was still a viable player until he was 40, but not anything like we're seeing with Lebron. Even his age 38 season wasn't close to what Lebron is doing.

I agree to a point. But I think longevity counts as well. Especially when playing at the level Lebron is.

Didn't they add Sabonis too? Is he a bad defender?
