Looks like Russ had another stellar game

As bad as he was last season? He has played pretty well in his role off the bench.

Was a big reason they won last night.....had a key rebound and scored to cut it to 118-117.

29 points, 6 boards and 5 assists. Made 10 of 18 shots. 2 of 4 on treys. Played under control for the most part.

He also tried to give the game away late in the 4th with hero ball and turnovers. But Lebron took the ball out of his hands and things improved with Westbrook scoring about 6-8 points off of assists from Lebron.

If they're going to play him late in close games, that's how it should work.

Sure, but overall he played pretty well.

His shot selection has gotten a lot better and he led them in scoring....which they needed with James shooting the ball, 8 of 21.

Oh, he's definitely playing well. He just can't be trusted making decisions with the ball late in games. If Lebron had taken over that part of the game a little earlier, they may not have needed Schroder to come up with a miracle steal and hoping for missed free throws to win.

In those situations they should do what they did after Westbrooks turnover and bad missed shot last night. Lebron running the offense and Westbrook getting the ball from him as he cuts to the basket.

Grizz only missed one once the Lakers started fouling, played the rest of the game with Adams on the bench. That one, pretty big though.

Had they made their free throws early, the Schroeder steal may have been inconsequential.

With Reaves and Walker hurt.....Nunn has gotten more PT and it has paid off.

He's averaging 11ppg while shooting 54% and 37% the last 10 games. Knew he wasn't washed at 27.

He’s garbage if the only way he can get playing time is when a undrafted guy is injured.

Not in all cases.

But, in this one, yeah.
