Dubs now 16-2 at home after dropping the Blazeups 118-112.
J Poole had 41 to lead all scorers. Klay dropped 31. Dame had 34 for Portland.
GS moved one game over .500...(19-18). They'll welcome Atlanta to town on Monday.

The problem with Lebron and Klutch is that they are like a plague of locusts.

They pillage a franchise, consuming all the natural resources, and then just move on.

Meanwhile, the team is left barren and destitute.

Fuck him…

He signed his extension, he wanted Westbrook….deal with it.

LeBron learned a lesson in his first 7 years in Cleveland. That lesson was....
"I cannot rely on an NBA owner to prioritize championships they way I prioritize championships."

LeBron decided that he was going to shape and mold his legacy using all tools at his disposal.
And he decided that that his legacy needed championships more than it needed loyalty to a franchise.

Since that first contract-bound stint in Cleveland, Lebron has picked the teams he played for.
And, as you say, he has manipulated those franchises as best he could.
The results speak for themselves.
Miami(4 years)---------------4 FInals. 2 Championships
Cleveland(4 years)---------4 Finals, 1 Championship
L.A(4 years)-------------------1 FInals, 1 Championship

Mission accomplished.

The fan's perspective is a little cloudier.
I think a Cavs/Heat fan will gladly suffer a few desolate years for a Championship.
Laker fans are tougher to please.

Nothing about your post is wrong.
I'm just adding some context from someone who watched the frustrated LeBron during those early Cleveland years.

Excellent post.

Yeah, the expectations in LA are obviously sky high. Perhaps another decade of Jeanie Buss will bring more context and greater appreciation for what LeBron delivered there.

But we shall see.

I get there is a lot of downside to the post LeBron experience. But adding him to a contending group is 100% worth it. Even now.
