Walker is looking like a smart off season pickup.

So far, so good. Dude is an athletic freak.

Yeah, he's a great player but more combo guard than pure PG.

Right now, I see him as a mini-Westbrook if Westbrook could shoot. Hopefully, he takes that next step that Westbrook never did. If he does, he'll get that team to the finals.

I was thinking about Russ after I typed Ja’s 7 apg stat.

Yeah, it’s very possible to get dimes and not make your team better.

Brown Jr has also been better than expected.....his hustle, defense and he's almost averaging 9ppg.

Ham has a nice flow going with most of the players on the roster. James and AD with Walker and Beverley (when he isn't suspended) and Schroeder and Reaves alot more now has become a nice starting five/six. Bringing Westbrook off the bench and running the second team of Brown, Ryan, Bryant, Jones, Gabriel, Christie, J-A, and Nunn is working well too. Not a bad strategy and it is beginning to make the Lakers a more consistent unit that is playing pretty good basketball that they have not played in a while. Kudos for first-year Coach Ham for working his way through alot of ego-related bullshit and FO chaos to get most of the roster to buy-in and playing well.

Also, as Russell Westbrook has shown throughout his career, it's possible to put up some pretty ridiculous numbers and still not add much when it comes to winning. Right now, that seems to be where Ja is.

Exactly. Here are a couple example of how to properly handle constructive criticism from an all time great.

A couple of seasons ago Chuck & Shaq called out Embiid's lack of effort. He thanked them and it' no longer a problem. Before last season Draymond criticized the effort of Nikola Jokic on the defensive end. Last season he had his best defensive season.

Then there's thin-skinned kids like Ben Simmons & Ja.
