Ignoring context is fun! Lakers were driving to the basket, several fouls were intentional, and the Wolves just passed the ball around the perimeter and took bad jump shots.
Im just trying to get someone, anyone, to try to justify it. It’s like asking Vince McMahon to explain why Hulk was so unbeatable.
Crazy how there are other teams that drive in the NBA and yet they never make it to the Lakers schedule?!?!? Mind boggling. You’ve explained why they go to the line so often. You’ve provided nothing to explain why they’re whistled less than others.WATCH. THE. GAMES.
League moves to excessive 3 pt shooting, Lakers near the bottom of the league in 3 pt attempts and the top of the league in points in the paint, somehow leads the league in FT. WHAHAPPEN?
There’s no point. Homers gonna homer. If you don’t look at that chart and know the league is helping the Lakers you aren’t being honest with yourself.

And the undrafted rookie FA who just shows up and gets to the line double digits in a game.Any discussion about this basically needs to remove Lebron, who we know will get the most preferential treatment
Oh the points about lack of 3 pt attempts and a lot of points in the paint are valid, but not to the extremes we have seen. Atlanta is basically the same team in those respects, which was surprising to me.There’s no point. Homers gonna homer.
It just speaks to one end of the equation.Oh the points about lack of 3 pt attempts and a lot of points in the paint are valid, but not to the extremes we have seen. Atlanta is basically the same team in those respects, which was surprising to me.

Him getting big dollars anywhere but LA just screams buyer beware.
When he can be defended like the league average guy he is.....
4.3 per game difference from least to most. Is that really much of an outlier? Lakers commit 17.8, Detroit 22.1. I believe the chart tracked FT, not fouls correct? Fouls vs the Lakers aren't on shooters as much as the fouls committed against them. Perimeter shooters don't get fouled as much to start. Also with such a small gap from 1st to last, the Lakers' fouls might be on passes, rebounds, and offensive? I can't find stats that separate PF into offensive and defensive, so I'm curious?Crazy how there are other teams that drive in the NBA and yet they never make it to the Lakers schedule?!?!? But put that shit in Purple and Gold and you get the circumstance we see in those tweets a few pages back. The gap between the highest disparity and the 2nd highest disparity is larger than the 2nd highest disparity itself haha. That one is rougher
Just saying . Lebron is getting call whether he plays for the lakers or the Chinese national team
I mean he’s a 3 and d guy.
The best ones do have 8 figure value
4.12 FTA per game on the season (most on the Lakers). 2 shooting fouls per game. Double digits in a game or two outlier is your battleground lol?And the undrafted rookie FA who just shows up and gets to the line double digits in a game.
Is it curious? I think it’s just a Laker fan’s desire to play mental gymnastics to deny something that’s existed for almost 50 seasons.4.3 per game difference from least to most. I want to see the breakdown of off/def PFs. I think that would explain a lot.Is it curious? I think it’s just a Laker fan’s desire to play mental gymnastics to deny something that’s existed for almost 50 seasons.
