The Sixers real grade is an “incomplete”. Truth be told, we’ve seen the Sixers have great regular seasons before. There isn’t a thing they could do in the regular season that would have been seen as a “success”. For them the real season starts now.

Well I would take this as a grade up til now I guess

One thing to come out of that article, SGA is the third person all time to average 30 pts, 5 assists, 1 steal and 1 block. The other 2 are MJ and Dwayne Wade. Then it says when ranked by true shooting percentage SGA tops that list. Rare air for a season.

Clippers grade is pretty reasonable.

Could have been much worse.

Lakers C grade seems pretty spot on.

D- or F pre-deadline...A- to A after that.

Ohhhh my bad. I see where you’re coming from now. I somewhat disagree. The Lowry injury made an impact. Them leaving the 4 spot unaddressed after losing Tucker though lends itself to your grade of D-. It’s fine to not pay an aging Tucker. I am already on record as saying that contract will be a problem for the Sixers going forward. However, leaving that hole unaddressed was malpractice.

the problem was having to use their full MLE to keep Martin and wanting to reset their tax leaving them without the BAE until later in the season.
