If the Clips and Warriors both lose (which I don't see happening) and the Lakers and NOLA both win, all 4 teams will be 43-39. The Lakers own the tiebreaker over NOLA and the Warriors, but not the Clips.

There are so many different ways this could go.

Intentionally losing to duck Phoenix could be catastrophic for the Clippers.

I think the Dubs losing and everyone else winning gets the Lakers 6th, no?

I think you're right. It would put the Clips in the 5 spot, then you'd have the tiebreakers between the other 3 which would put the Lakers 6th.

Given how bad the Warriors have been on the road, that scenario has a solid chance at playing out.

Yeah, the Clips have to play to win, imo, even if it means getting the Suns. It's looking like PG could be back by the time the series starts which would give them a solid chance if he and Kawhi are both healthy.
