Every fan base has its idiots.

I was at a Dodgers game a couple of years ago and Pau Gasol was there. When they showed him on the big scoreboard, some idiots actually boo'd him.

I was thinking that guy was a huge part of 2 titles and some of you idiots are booing?

A player should not have that kind of power. If the fan was being abusive the player shouldn’t have to be the one to say anything in the first place.

Also, how is yelling that the earth is round, abusive?

It's not like the fan was using racial slurs or saying shit about his family.

Kyrie is the one who let everyone know that he thinks the earth is flat...that makes it fair game.

Nice young player.

But, I wouldn’t retain him at any cost.

It could windup being a Tyler Johnson type situation.

He's getting paid. Lakers can match due to the Arenas provision, just a matter of how much. The biggest impact to the cap would come in year three with a balloon payment if that provision comes into play (depending on the offer).
