Oh I didn’t say he said anything that was wrong. I like the guy, from my school. But he’s a mid range player at best. So I guess it just struck me as a bit unusual it even came up at this point. He’s going to get paid by the Lakers though I have no doubt.

Oh I didn’t say he said anything that was wrong. I like the guy, from my school. But he’s a mid range player at best. So I guess it just struck me as a bit unusual it even came up at this point. He’s going to get paid by the Lakers though I have no doubt.

The Lakers will definitely offer him a raise. I read that it's likely to be in the neighborhood of 4 years/$50 million, which seems fair. It'll be interesting to see if anyone tops it.

As for it coming up, seems like someone asked him and he answered honestly. With how well he's played, he's earned a raise from someone and the regular season is almost over, so we're likely to see more of these kinds of questions until the playoffs start.

Weak take, imo.

Of course it's not as good as the NBA...99% of those players will be making their living doing something other than playing basketball.

To me, that's part of the fun of it. It's part of why we see wild upsets, etc.

Also, wasn't he a one and done?

Seems like the product would be better if the NBA caliber players stayed longer.
