I am judging a guy who grew up in the burbs wanting to join in with a criminal element. He doesn't have boys from back in the day pulling him into that shit.

I also blame his dad for hamming off his sons success and not keeping him more grounded.

Meanwhile, a week ago, JJ said Jokic was the runaway MVP. JJ has fully leaned into being a media guy now. Throws out a take last week and now he’s already thrown it away and embraced another take.

More than any other player, this guy has grabbed respect from me this year. He’s become a great defender, he still stretches the floor for you as a 5, but he’s also added to his offensive bag in the post when a matchup is presented. And then you get this stuff being a dawg and backing up his teammate. Bucks have a good one to round out their Big 3 of Giannis Jrue and Khris

Dude has transformed his game not only to make himself more lethal on offense but for his fit with MIL AND like you said, he is now a great defender. He was always seen as average at best but I guess he did carry more of an offensive load in BKN.

He argued that Jokic was MVP but you’re right on the term “run away”. I just rewatched and it was Stephen A Smith in the segment who used the term runaway.

They must not value the defensive end the way we do. For me, I get through 5 guys before I get to a one-way player like Jokic. That being said, I think he's the best one-way player in the league.
