I actually only just realized the Lakers get a pick in this years draft and the Pelicans only have rights to a pick swap (although it'll be close any way so I don't think they will)

For some reason i've given up on the Lakers having a first rounder until like 2056 or something.

The media keeps selling it as such. All they really owe is a pick swap this year and a first in either 2024 or 2025 (Pelicans can choose), plus the 2027 pick traded to Utah (which is top 3 protected and could turn into 2nds if the wheels fall off).

He has played 56 out of 64 thus far, only 2 more back to backs so he will likely play 70 or more.
