I’m looking at pgs who might be available this summer for you guys

Rozier
Dinwiddie
Lowry
Fultz

Not great

Mostly using Morris and bones plus your late first this year as a general idea for what you can offer

Obviously would need more for rozier
Dinwiddie would be really good on the Clippers.

Bout a year or so ago, Shaq was talking about a point guard who thought very highly of himself. Shaq tore him a part saying he’ll never be what he thought he was as a player in this league.

I believe it was Donavan Mitchell he was talking about.

I know you love Westbrook but that's just flat out wrong. They wanted him on the team. Went out of there way to accommodate him for months, tried to keep him engaged and make it work. He also earned his share of the blame too because A) He was very resistant to changing to fit (especially the first year) and B) He did play poorly, sometimes extremely poorly to the point where even respected NBA analysts were like "He's gonna be out of the league soon if he doesn't turn it around". Did he deserve ALL of the blame? No. But what you said isn't true either
Especially Ham.

He did everything he could to make it work.

I will agree on that.

But also, Donovan Mitchell had 70 and I don’t see anybody trying to call him a superstar.

Of course Lillard is better.

But 1 game is 1 game no matter how brilliant.
1 game?

Come on, @tlance

Give this man his flowers.

MULTIPLE GAMES.

Mitchell's 70 was cheap, he got OT that shouldn't have even taken place lol.

Cue Cleveland fans rebuttals starting........now?
I've already said Lillard's was more impressive but I will say, the Cavs needed every single point from Mitchell to win. He saved the game for them in regulation, he willed them to that victory and he did it against Chicago. Lillard did it against Houston. I still say it was more impressive though. Portland was up by double digits basically for most of the game. They were up by like 18 with 4 mins to go when he had a little over 60. They didn't need to keep him in the game. Mitchell also had to do it in OT but unlike Lillard he had to be out there.

Efficiency wise Lillard had the most impressive 70+ in NBA history.

Rethinking that superstar list. I would put Lillard as a superstar, borderline but he is a still a superstar as of right now.

He’s a great player languishing in a small market with a team that is going nowhere. Not sure how you can actually be a “super star” under that circumstance.

I read a stat the other day that said dame was in the 99th percentile of offensively but the bottom 5 percentage defensively

I would like to see those stats for some of those other given superstars like Luka and Jokic. Defense definitely hurts Lillard, a bit easier to focus on your offense when you don't play any defense.

Just a pro tip. It’s out of bounds to talk about Jokic’s defense.

Hey...I'm not saying he is a bad defender just picked the two superstars that don't play top level defense. Guys like Giannis, Embiid and Tatum are strong defenders and are also known for their defense. I would imagine both are near average not bottom 5 like Dame.

Embiid doing the same, but in a larger market.
