This kind of goes with my take, we all think of the people and culture we grew up with as the best, because when you are young these things hit harder and deeper. As you get older you know more but you also don't react as intensely and emotionally to this stuff. So even though LeBron's numbers and diverse skill sets might put him above MJ, anyone over 40 (like Iverson) is not going to feel the way they did about LeBron the way they did about MJ.perfectly said
I’ll stop saying it when one of you can come up with a decent counter to my point. It must be frustrating to know that I’m right.

Decent counter does not equal a popularity contest done by the media.

Yeah no shit. The point is the Twittiots wouldn't be able to comprehend that and they'd roast him like they roast LeBron for his 'bad' finals record.Jerry vs a stacked HOF Celtics roster.
Jerry is also the only finals MVP to come from the losing team.
Didn’t I already say Giannis is the best player in the league right now? Big news if Giannis is a Sixer now. It's a bit better than a Sixers' fan's eye test.
True to a point, but in some instances there are a lot of people that saw them both in their prime and can be objective. We will always be influenced to a point by the things that matter to us most, but the eye test matters. This kind of goes with my take, we all think of the people and culture we grew up with as the best, because when you are young these things hit harder and deeper. And future old people will be telling young people Wembanyama ain't shit compared to LeBron. And future young people will think of MJ they way we think of Bill Russell, some legend that they never saw play.
Legit to do what? Why is there so much talk on here about the under achieving Flakers, my Knicks are being described as a legit team with no superstar on their roster.
Shame on these available buyout options goin to teams with no chance at all.
Big dummies
Yes but the eyes of someone age 12-25 are different than when you are older. It hits you harder and more deeply, the stuff you love when you're young. Basically what Iverson said. He says LeBron is 'better' objectively but his feels favor MJ.True to a point, but in some instances there are a lot of people that saw them both in their prime and can be objective.
