Difference is they didn’t ruin everything. Small moves won’t hurt. Pelinka fucked up and got too desperate instead of taking the right deal. Lebron getting players to resign at higher prices had more impact on Gilbert paying more into the tax.

HUGE difference.
Lakers weren’t winning this year, too many talented teams

Cavs and Heat went to 4 titles in a row. The Lakers can barely sniff the playoffs.

That’s called being a bad GM and owner. Rob and Jeanie have no clue what they are doing

And yet, the Lakers got just as many championships with Lebron as the Cavs.

But please, keep being Wiggy.

None of that was known before the season and not a great excuse for a poor move. It was questionable from the start.
Can’t put your job on someone is the main point especially a huge move. Overpaying guys you already have is different

From what I've read and heard, nothing has changed since Dr. Buss was alive and running things. The Lakers will pay the luxury tax for a contending team.

Additionally, I keep reading on here about all of the players can't get because of the salary cap, yet they're supposedly trying to cut costs.
Eh….

Rumors say that might not be the case anymore….

The Lakers are on pace to be a luxury tax team for the third consecutive season, which would qualify them for the repeater tax. This would add one dollar for every dollar spent over the luxury tax line, basically doubling the worth of certain contracts and it leads to some absolutely massive luxury tax bills for certain teams.

Apparently, this is something the Lakers are very much aware of as, according to Kyle Goon of the Southern California News Group, one of the themes within the front office as they are exploring potential deals is to limit their repeater tax.

Meh, rookie coach who was handed an ill fitting roster and Westbrook.

Giving him a pass until I see what he does with this roster with healthy AD and Lebron and also after we see what he's got to work with next season.

All things considered, he's been solid. If nothing else, he found a way to keep Westbrook from being a complete disaster.
His coaching cost us 4-5 wins this season.

So, you’d still be under .500?

:pound:

But, yeah…..agree.

He has made some rookie mistakes.

Probably because he’s a rookie.

Time will tell if he’s one of those guys better served to be the lead assistant.

I thought that about Mike Bron until this Season.

So, Ham still has time.

Dude has got to stop with those dumb ass 4 guard lineups though…

There is zero chance I would have a public account if I were famous.

I would be banned from every platform for disgustingly, disturbing counter trolling.

Hell, I'm not famous (I know that's difficult to believe) and there's zero chance I'd have one.

Shit, I barely have a Facebook account. I think one of the daughters set it up. lol

Give Ham 1 more season until it's (Phil) Handy time.
