Nbatv showed something during the game that showed only Orlando had players miss more games than Miami so far this season
kinda makes sense when you have guys like Lowry, Oladipo and Butler- who are all either old, miss games or both.

Robinson is the guy they really missed on- giving him good money and getting nothing out of him. 50 million for Lowry and Robinson hurts---- but a core of Bam, Jimmy and Herro gives them a chance against just about anyone. A veteran team that knows how to play.

This almost inevitable Cavs/Heat series is gonna kill me. lol.

this will be the last year its close though for a while unless Miami makes a big move- how? we shall see.

Jimmy going nowhere while Bam is just getting better

Lowry will be on an expiring contract

But yeah let's act like they're going to fall off the face of the earth lol

Shit without all these injuries, they would be much closer to the Cavs in the standings

with Mobley, Garland, Allen not even in their primes yet and just getting better- the Cavs are not going anywhere--- while Butler is going to be 34 when next season starts.

Can they trade Lowry's expiring deal for anything? Robinson is still guaranteed about 40 million over the next 2 seasons and THEN has a player option he will def. pick up for 2025-2026........about 50M in cap room between those 2 for next year for less than stellar production.

on the other hand- the only "bad money" the Cavs have at the end of the year is Love's expiring deal.....LeVert is expiring....they will have some flexibility to add to the quartet of Mitchell, Garland, Allen and Mobley. Wade and Rubio are signed up to reasonable deals. Okoro is getting better. Osman is on a non-guaranteed 7M which will might be picked up unless they want to do something else.

youth, talent, flexibility vs. age, bad money, not much going on. Heat really dont even have a tradeable asset as good as Okoro unless they really want to blow it up. Cavs dont have picks to move, but do have some contracts and players ---and plenty of internal improvement.

Two teams going in opposite directions.

Portland with 10 3’s in the 1st. Lillard hits a halfcourt shot at the buzzer. Wow

Yep same BS from you. All great for the cavs and all bad for the heat

No surprise at all.

With the way you make it sounds, Cavs should be in the title or bust conversation from this point forward

Record wise they are the 9th best team currently in the league. Without some of the ridiculous injury luck, they are likely better than Memphis who currently sits as the 6th best record in the league. Your doom and gloom comments on Miami and other teams is stale.....find new material

after last year- some good injury luck was due to them---- that- and having depth and a young roster would seem to benefit injury luck more than a short rotation with an older roster.

this year for the Cavs is jsut about making the playoffs and hopefully- maybe- winning a series- get some experience in the playoffs.

young teams with no playoff experience basically never win in the playoffs- so getting some of that experience is crucial.

esp. because

Allen is still only 24
Garland just turned 23
Mitchell 26
Mobley 21
Okoro just turned 22

every single one of their core pieces mentioned above still have room for improvement. I think most NBA players do not hit the height of their prime until about 27-28 years old--- where they still have some bouncy athleticism but have experience and know the game.

Mobley and Garland are really the wild cards. Garland might have another level or two to get to- and Mobley definitely does. Allen is establishing himself as one of the best defenders in the league.

not really very often do you see a team that is this young play good defense either--- its odd that their defense has not acheived better road results since defense often travels better than offense--- but that is where the youth is really showing up.

First Kyrie/Luka end of game situation was a disaster
