I'd bet that had the Eagles been at 11 and the Giants at 12 Dallas makes that same trade with NY. They still get their guy and an extra pick.

There is no real way to properly evaluate what the NFC East did with those 3 picks. Eagles passed up on Justin Fields but they got one of the most famous players in the whole draft. Cowboys passed on getting that future 1st round pick from the Bears to get a pick from the Eagles and take Parsons who is one of the most famous defensive players. Giants ducked the issue, got a gadget WR but also a stockpile of picks.

If I was a robot and just removed the actual players from the situation then the data would probably suggest that the Giants won by far. But there is a really good argument that Smith and Parsons could be HOF level players with the right development and the Giants didn't get either. So this will be fun to watch moving forward.

I find myself agreeing with you mostly. Lance is the ultimate boom or bust draft pick IMO. Only one year of small college ball playing against nobodies, then missed playing last year hard to believe the 49ers went all in on him. I wasn't that impressed with his passes either as he seemed inaccurate with the long ball and threw up floaters at time. On the plus side he's coming to a NFL team loaded with talent and Shanahan is a very good coach for a rookie QB. Also your righ, t that now Garoppolo trade value dropped a ton, especially as the Pats drafted their future QB and have no need of him. Course they know can use Jimmy G. for a season then save a ton of money when they cut him next off season.
Maybe he goes the way of RG3; electric rookie year under Shanahan then falls off due to injury and inability to beat teams with his arm.

So I guess the Vikings, Lions (maybe if Goff doesn't work out?), Redskins, Steelers and MAYBE Falcons with the 3rd rounder need QBs?

Be interesting to see where Trask and Mond go. Panthers will probably take an OT. Very surprised Trevon Moehring is still around.

Would be surprised if he falls past the Jets/Dolphins. Both need safety upgrades badly.

Looks like a solid pick for Urb. Gonna be interesting to see what he can do down there.

Let's face it, though - Meyer's O-systems have always been all about dual-threat QB's. He's going to have to rein that in.

Dang, Denver got a good player. We need to send Mayock over to the Broncos once he inevitably gets fired from Vegas

Weird pick. They could've gotten someone way later to backup Gordon who JUST turned 28.... I get they may want a replacement after this year... but why now? Runningbacks are like a new car... immediately start depreciating the moment they are drafted.

In other news, I guess the Jets defense will be atrocious this year. Should help Tua/Jones settle in on a couple games.

Jaguars selected Georgia CB Tyson Campbell with the No. 33 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.

Holland is a good pick for the Dolphins.... wonder if Moehrig had something come up late that we don't know about. I'm surprised Holland over Moehrig but it's fairly comparable in terms of where they were going to get drafted (early-mid 2nd) so whatever. If the Cowboys can snag Moehrig I'm sure they'll be ecstatic. They've needed a good safety forever.

hmmm, I guess the Eagles are counting on Kelce retiring? Dickerson is an injury risk, but if he can somehow recover in 2021 and stay healthy I guess it's fine lol.

Yean, Dickerson's a Hoss. Beagles need OL, made sense.
