If the MVP was simply about stats and not winning then Russ would have several MVP's by now.

Just because Steph is playing great doesn't mean we should forget that winning is the most important factor when MVP voting.

How many times do I have to say, Steph ain't winning, nor should he. But he deserves it more than Dame.

He doesn't deserve the award more than Dame. That's just homerism. At least have to be consistent in that winning should always be a factor in post season accolades and AS Games.

HOWEVER, Steph has been balling out this year in a season where people said he would get killed because he had no other second option. His ORPM is further away from #2 Dame, than Dame is to #40.

So all the people like @WiggyRuss talking shit about Steph being overrated, while he's killing the league at 33 and single handedly keeping this team in the mix for a playoff spot should ABSOLUTELY be acknowledged. But not with any MVP talk.
