Heat refusing to say if Oladipo will play again this season. The way they keep injuries a secret is so stupid. Who is this helping?

NBA players are so dumb. Pelicans up 3 with 3 seconds left. Lonzo leaves 3 pt specialist Bullock wide open because he was too concerned about Rose getting a layup to cut the lead to 1 with 3 seconds left lmaoo

So all NBA players are dumb because 1 guy made a bad, impulsive decision?

That isn’t even a smarts thing. It is an impulse control and discipline thing. I guarantee Lonzo knew he shouldn’t have done that.

But sometimes athletes make bad decisions in real time because they don’t get to stop and think about what to do.

Not the first time a player leaves a 3 pt shooter to try to prevent a 2 pt fg with seconds left

True cannot blame all NBA players for it but was pretty dumb. No doubt Blame the Coach Guy will blame Van Gundy, though.

At this point of the season with their playoffs hopes on the brink, you just can't make stupid mistakes like that which literally cost them the game

Sure did....and I have no doubt VG reminded them all not to leave guys at 3 point line. I mean, tlance is right it's sometimes instinct. But that does not mean their instinct was not dumb.

Yeah I'm sure they were told no 3's. Not only did Ball leave his man but the guy he left just happens to be the best shooter on the Knicks

Tyler Herro is an embarrassment on defense.

Of course it isn’t.

It was a bad mistake for sure.

Your comment was “NBA players are so dumb”

Just leave it at Lonzo made a dumb mistake and it is all good.

Thing is, everyone who has played competitive basketball has made mistakes like that before. Maybe not in the closing seconds of a nationally televised game, but still.

When in the moment you have a spilt second to decide help or no help. Lonzo made the wrong choice in the situation. Won’t be the last time it happens either.

Same as Webber calling the timeout. The last words out of the VG’s mouth were probably “switch all screens and stay home on shooters”.

Split second decisions are difficult.

Yes, you expect a player at that level to make the right decision, but it also isn’t as easy as @bksballer89 is making it sound. Lonzo will learn from it and hopefully never make that mistake again.
