How are you going to build a contender around a very ball dominant 30 point a game scorer who shoots 40%?

As a first or second option, that is really hard.

The 6ers did it in a different era with a bunch of gritty defenders who didn’t need the ball. That wouldn’t work today.

He came up with more excuses to not play basketball than Justise Winslow. lol

He played enough games to prove he could score efficiently.

Did he make the team better? That is a different question.

Totally agree.

I just don’t think AI was a team player either.

A lot of his quirks are glorified today because people like him. But he had his fair share of warts, just like Kyrie.

We are just a lot more aware of Kyrie’s flaws because he is playing right now and in the world of social media.

Clippers shot 49% from 3 on 39 shots. That will keep you in a lot of games.

He's been the best player in the league year but the 18 missed games is going to be tough to overcome. If they win the next 4 games(Warriors, Sun, @Buck, @Bucks) then there might be some momentum for it.

But Jokic has been great this year. Offensively a tremendous season. Defensively, he's not great. And defense is a big part of being a center. But I think he is still the favorite to win it.
