A win is a win. The Sixers solitary right now goal is securing the one seed. They took care of business last night. Not worried about the Clippers in a 7 game series. Last night PG13 was incredible. “Playoff P” won’t be that guy in the playoffs. He shits the bed when the big lights come on.

Did you see the stat last night they showed that said that Paul George was 5 of 60 in game tying/game leading shots at the end of a game in his career?

As I asked earlier, would the Clippers have shot BETTER than 49% from 3 with Leonard in?

We all know that Leonard is their best player. Which is why we shouldn't draw too many conclusions from the Sixers winning that game. But we shouldn't draw too many conclusions from ANY one game. Even if both teams are fully fit.

The Sixers would have lost if they were without their best player in Embiid.

Good thing they weren’t. You could say that about Clippers win over Sixers last month sans Embiid. I don’t think the Clippers will be given up that W in the standings though.

Yeah. I live in the New York metro so I don't get local games when they are nationally televised.

Sure, I guess. This sub thread was spurred by Wiggy saying that Embiid is the MVP. So saying they would lose to the Clippers without Embiid isn't exactly disproving his point.

He would have been the MVP without missing all those games IMO. Now I just don't see how they can give it to him after missing 20 games. I think the only way he get it is if Denver falls to 5 or 6

I generally agree that it is Jokic's to lose. There are only a few ways I could see Embiid get it. The Nuggets tumble into the play-in seeds or Embiid puts up ridiculous stats for the rest of the season. Since his return he has been averaging 34.5 points 11 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game. He keeps that pace going and he might force his way to the top. At some point, he will be having a Bill Walton kind of season.

But ultimately, I think Embiid will miss at least a couple more games and that might make it impossible for him to win it.

Montana never got suspended for refusing to cooperate with an investigation. If # 12 had nothing to hide why did he destroy his cell phone? That's not the actions of someone that has nothing to hide.
