I think we're all saying AI was way more fun to watch than Kyrie. But Kyrie has to be considered the better player.

I loved watching AI and you all know I am no Kyrie fan.

But I agree Kyrie is better.

He couldn't be the best player on the team. If it was AI and the Lakers instead of Kobe you don't think they could have won a title?

Kyrie isn't carrying a team either.

Instead of Kobe?

Probably, but I am not sure.

AI does not have a game that is very conducive to sharing with other stars. But you put enough talent together and eventually fit doesn’t matter.

Neither does Kyrie, but he is way more efficient and has done it multiple times.

Iverson. Without a doubt.

I hate comparing stats when one player is retired. AI‘s last three seasons were riddled with injury and his stats dropped by a lot whereas Kyrie is still in his prime.

Not exactly.

Some of his worst efficiency seasons were in his prime when he was scoring 30 a game.

In a word...yes.

Pretty sure a teammate like Lebron will get you more open shots than a teammate like Eric Snow.

Yes, that is true to a point.

But both players tend to play individual style games where they create their own offense. Both have been on teams without a ton of scoring help.

And Kyrie’s efficiency in those situations was way better.

I hate advocating for Kyrie. But as fun as AI was to watch, AI is spectacularly overrated in terms of impact on winning basketball IMO.

I may be wrong on Hayes. He has to work on his jumper though. But nice vision for a young kid.

Sekou is still trash though

Soon as Oladipo went down, this team went back to looking like the horrible team prior to acquiring him

When?

Other than maybe his first couple of seasons in Cleveland, when has he not. In Cleveland he had Lebron and Kevin Love, there was plenty of scoring help in Boston and he's got more scoring help than anyone in history in Brooklyn.

I think Kyrie is a better player, but not as significantly as the stats would seem to indicate. Also, defenses were more physical in AI's day than they are now.

Put AI in today's game with the scoring help that Kyrie has had and under todays rules, I think AI would put up pretty similar numbers.

Add to that the fact that AI is tougher and not batshit crazy....I'm taking AI.

Spoelstra go with a lineup of two 2 way players, a shitty rookie, a washed guard, and a guy in a sophomore slump then wonders why the Heat lead disappeared

Last year in Brooklyn too.

Yeah Kyrie is crazy. They are both flawed players.

Being dominated by the freaking Wolves lol.

Tyler Herro back to playing like crap. Probably should have traded him for Lowry

Does last year even count? He barely even played.

He came up with more excuses to not play basketball than Justise Winslow. lol

Paul George had a great night 37/9/6 but it wasn't quite enough. Good game.

Something about Melo that makes me laugh. When he was in Denver he said he couldn't wait to get outta that cow town. If Denver's a cow town what's Oklahoma City?
We are all modern and shit now in the OKC.

Your team cost me a $1,200 parlay tonight. I’m holding you responsible!

Should have asked me before. Would have stayed far away from them. In all my bets for tonight, it did not include them winning. I went with certain stats instead of them winning. This team isn't good at all.

Will be lucky to make the real playoffs and if the do, one of the top teams in the East will make quick work of them in 4 or 5.
