Yeah, I'm not buying the bubble excuse. Everyone was in the same bubble. The teams that played well and advanced, had their best players and their coaches all on the same page.

For example, I remember hearing that any time there was some doubt about the bubble, the Lakers and Heat's best players and their coaches all had the same message of basically..."We're here, it sucks, but since we're here, let's make the best of it and try to win". Not all teams took that approach and a sizable chunk of that falls on the coach.

I'm not trying to say there should be some asterisk or anything like that. But it was a strange season. I think that sometimes it also falls on the players. When you have Lebron as a teammate, you are likely going to stay in line.

To be clear, it's entirely possible that Doc should have done other things last year. I really don't know. All I know is that it was a weird year.

Im not NBA savvy.........

So educate me.

Are the 76'ers that good?
Whats up with the celtics, i thought they were better?
Could the pacers be a sneaky high seed that no one wants to play?
How are the raptors so bad?
Does the east stink as bad as I think?

Is the west ALOT better, because I think it is.
5-6 strong teams.

Better pure scorer? curry or kd

And ftr, yes...Doc has had stacked teams. There may have been a team or 2 that was more stacked, but that doesn't mean his weren't.

I don't think anyone would accuse Rivers as being as good a coach as Riley either.

He's obviously better than Brown though lol

Poor effort from the Lakers tonight. After the solid Nets game, right back to the excessive turnovers from the Heat game. Kuzma played, but not well. Schroder started well, but reaggravated his tailbone, maybe he should stop taking charges for a while.

1) Yes
2) No one knows. It looks like they've just tuned their coach out and they need a teamwide shake up.
3) No
4) Lost talent over the last couple of years (Kawhi, Danny Green, Gasol, Ibaka). Also, some internal friction. For example, Siakam had some blow ups with the coaches
5) I don't know, how bad do you think it is? Top 3 teams could win the Finals. That's better than most years.
6) It's still pretty good yes. Unless you have the #1 seed, every other playoff match up in round 1 could be brutal. Like do you really want to play a healthy Mavs team as a #7 seed in round 1? That's tough. Even tougher, a #6 seed fully healthy Lakers team
7) Pure scorcer? KD. Pure shooter? Curry

So if they weren't to blame, how did they blow a double digit lead in both those games?

Who is to blame?
The ones who blew the lead with their poor play...Doc didn't take a single shot.
