Come on dammit! Can't you root for the Celtics once? Already mentioned earlier today I was rooting for your Lakers to beat Nets last night. It didn't feel right and it kinda put a damper on the evening. But that's how much I dislike the Nets 3 stooges.

The only time I root for the Celtics is when they are trying to tank for better draft position.

I didn't watch the game live, either... apparently, though, the C's went on a 31-3 run from the late 3rd quarter into the 4th quarter... the C's were down 14 when the run started...

... the C's have won 5 of 6. Things are starting to click a little.

Nuggets without Murray, T-Wolves, Rockets, Hornets and Knicks (and a loss to the 76ers). Not exactly barn-storming...

AD's injury is a little similar to KD's.....can the Lakers make it out of the WC without him?

Drummond would be the #2 option and Schroder the #3 without AD.....IDK.

The Nuggets just won 7 or 8 in a row... several of them without Murray.

That aside... the Nuggets, yourself or anybody else can cry me a river... the Celtics have been either the most or one of the most teams affected by missed player time this season.

A win is a win... especially this season.

I wasn't a huge fan of hiring Doc but there is no question, in my mind, that this team is more focused and doesn't seem to be singularly obsessed with DHOs.
Doc is a pretty underrated coach IMO

You're expecting commiseration from a Lakers fan?

See, I don't know about that. Doc's is an interesting case. In Boston, he basically got expected results when you factor in injuries and age. With the Clippers, his teams pretty much all underachieved except the one just before Kawhi and PG arrived when all he had were role players.. Then he underachieved with Kawhi and PG. In fact, we were pretty much all calling him overrated during his Clippers tenure.

But in Philly...he looks like he's the coach they've needed all along.

That might say more about the previous Sixers coach...

He killed it with the Clippers the year before Kawhi and PG arrived. And now how he's got the Sixers doing. I stand by it. If for some reason Kerr left I would be thrilled for Doc to replace him.

Maybe. He may just "connect better" with certain players and the Sixers have those types of players. Folks were about to give up on Simmons and Embiid being able to play together...but they are doing really well now and Doc is really the only major change.

I don't think he's a bad coach and the Lakers had a few coaches that would have me longing for Doc.

I just don't see him as underrated. He got expected results with 1 team, badly underachieved every season except 1 with his 2nd team and now has a team that, so far, is playing well in his first season.

Kyrie out again due to personal reasons.

I'm sorry if a family member/friend isn't dying, there is absolutely no reason for a player to be out 3 different times due to personal reasons.

They were all spaced out as well
I kind of agree, but didn't Butler miss games for reason other than death to family member?

Pretty sure Jimmy missed some games due to injury if I remember correctly.

Not what I was referring to. Missed some games last season and not for injury (perhaps birth of child?).

They added shooting around those two, which was desperately needed (Curry, Green).
