I mean they won a title every year MJ played a full season for the last 8 years if my math is right. He SAID he was going to start over but in the end he ended up asking Phillip and MJ to return and bring the band back again. Don't recall how it would have gone with Pippen. That might have been something he mishandled, for sure, as he definitely was a guy with an ego who cared about credit as you alluded.

Reinsdorf went over Krause’s head. Krause wanted the rebuild. But the damage had already been done.

Did they do sign and trades then? MJ wouldve netted a fucking bank.

I just feel like its not like Mike was some easy dude to deal with.

He basically punted three more years to not go to another team? Hes a weird dude.

"treated by Krause"? You mean with alleged mean words? In the end with actions he offered to bring him back. True, Phillip has the right to leave. Think he had other offers if you had to guess before signing up to play with Kobe and Shaq?

Yep.

Words do matter.

And it doesn’t matter what offers he had. When he left the bulls he stated he wasn’t ever going to coach again.

He changed his mind when the opportunity to coach Shaq and Kobe came up.

Again, it is ridiculous to knock him for not purposely choosing bad situations.

He didn’t need the money and was also worn down physically and emotionally from the title runs.

And he was very difficult to deal with. Which is why PJ deserves more credit than some on here want to give.

I wont knock Phil. Hes the GOAT imo.

But Im sorry? MJ was drained? So how about Lebron making almost double the amount of finals? Is he allowed to be tired? No year and a half off to be a shitty baseball player

I find KD's whole act annoying but hed get absolutely destroyed if he stepped away because he was just too drained.

That is coming from MJ himself.

Which IMO, makes LeBron’s accomplishments and ability to go deep into the playoffs every year that much more impressive.

"damage is not done" until they are not offered the chance to stay. They left because their feelings were hurt?

Not knocking as much as pointing out he would not accept a challenge. Even one where he had MJ (but no Pippen). I'm actuall pointing out facts FYI. He did not accept any roles other than those with MJ or Kobe/Shaq. Would you prefer I make it up as you often do as though what I say is factual?

Is this one of those times we are allowed to not believe the guy and suggest maybe he made it up or nah?

@msgkings322 Warriors showing out for Steph's birthday
Thought they'd lose this one, they played great on both ends. Wiggins and Curry and Dray spectacular, Poole and Wiseman good, good all around game.

That's what I mean about Draymond. He had 11 points in the first, none in the 2nd. But finished with a 11/12/12 triple double, his usual great D, and a win. Easily their 2nd best (healthy) player and still very important.

Thunder brought up Moses Brown on a 2 way contract. I expect Horford to be traded soon and Brown is going to get a lot of minutes. I really like what I’m seeing from the kid thus far.

"damage is not done" until they are not offered the chance to stay. They left because their feelings were hurt?

That literally happens all the time.

If your employer treated you like crap and was constantly saying they would replace you, would you not consider leaving for a better/equal opportunity somewhere else?

Most humans certainly would. So yeah. Damage done. And a late offer to stay doesn’t undo negative feelings toward Krause accumulated over years.

He might have.

I don’t know. Neither do you.
