If the NBA actually followed the meaning of MVP (most VALUABLE player) then he is easily a top 3 candidate but since they only focus on the teams with the best records in basketball, he won't even be in the discussion.

They're 16-7 with him and 4-11 without him and they also have the best defense in basketball since he came back from Covid.

They do. Why do you think Steve Nash won it twice and guys like Shaq, Hakeem, and Kobe won it once

LOL. It feels almost impossible to hit on a 5 team parlay, unless you're betting on big favorites, then you feel like you have some chance even though just one upset will ruin it. I guess this guy's 15 team parlay was smart because it didn't have a single underdog except maybe the even money one.

I don't recall the details but remember at the time thinking one of biggest fabrications was how they showed he got food poisoning in the visiting hotel. If I remember they had something like 4-5 guys go to the room or something else that made no sense.

I always pretty much thought that but I was listening to Windhorst's podcast and they had Zach Lowe on. And laid out how this isn't really true. There were maybe 2 or 3 seasons, at most where he had a reasonable argument for MVP over the guy who won.

True story: first sports bet I ever made was a 5 team parlay and it hit. I thought “damn this is easy, I’m gonna keep doing this”

Long story short anytime I make a bet you should definitely take the other side.
