Reading the Ball scouting report it didn’t look like he would fit in GS.

Personally I was worried about his perimeter shooting and that he might be too ball dominant. Also defense.

Watching him now, I’m still thinking the fit would not be terrific, but Melo might be good enough that you just take him and figure out the fit later.

Yeah, good points. I just think the Warriors weren't worried about missing out on a playmaker like Ball because they figured that they'd have another chance at an excellent playmaker prospect in the 2021 draft. And maybe they liked Wiseman over another big like Mobley, or maybe they thought that the chance of Mobley falling to them in the 2021 draft was low, so they had better take Wiseman. Hopefully, they made the right call, but if they had to do it over again, my guess is that they would pick Ball.

If they get Cunningham they 100% made the right choice.

Unfortunately for the Warriors, there is very little chance they get the no. 1 pick in the next draft.

So Windy with nothing of substance? Kind of like him because he usually does not play the baseless rumor game.

Seems like he's just making a prediction. But it's a prediction that is likely to start conjecture and rumors. lol

Perhaps.

I also think they probably had the 2 prospects similarly rated and opted for the guy who filled the biggest need.

Looks like they were wrong on Ball, but so was Minnesota and that one probably smarts more.

I forget who was talking about this yesterday, but they made a really good point. Kawhi is a superstar caliber player, but he's not a leader. Leaders either lead by being vocal, or by example.

Kawhi does neither. He doesn't really talk and has his own trainers, medical staff, etc. A basketball mercenary, so to speak.

Basically, he's the guy that can put you over the top if you already have a culture established...but he's not the guy who's going to come in and change your culture. It's not who he is.

So, while I agree that he deserves a share of the blame. You can also put a good bit on the Clippers for expecting him to be something he's not.
That sounds like Cowherd lol. Yep

Don’t they have the TWolves pick?

I don’t think anyone is wrong or right on him yet. He has Ball genes which means he could flake out at any moment.

Minny keeps the pick this year if it is in the top 3. If it lands in the top 3, then Warriors get Minny's 1st round pick next year unprotected.

I had no idea that Udonis Haslem is still an active player. I thought that he was an assistant coach.

Vogel rotations make no sense.

No Kuz, Gasol, and obviously AD

Trez only played 19 minutes so far and been out for more than a quarter now.

At this point, I doubt he comes back in
