You get that he wasn’t trying to kick people in the nuts though, right?

He move was a flail designed to embellish contact and get calls from the refs. Sometimes he accidentally hit people.

He used to kick his leg out like that 5-6 times a game and he made contact on like 1%. He wasn’t trying to kick people.

I doubt that is the common belief from everyone that watched. He has a pussy reputation, period. Hard thing to get rid of.

Had draymond been given the flagrant maybe KD stays with OKC and the Cavs never win the title

The nut kick that changed nba history

You won’t say that to his face.

Lol you don’t know that

It is unbelievable to me that people can actually think that.

Draymond Green is like 6’6” and he was an all star caliber big man for a few years despite below average NBA talent. He got where he was off hustle and grind. He grew up in a very tough neighborhood and always seems to say what is on his mind without regard for consequences. He is also a hot head.

Not liking Draymond is one thing. But thinking he isn’t tough is just stupid. You all aren’t even using common sense at this point.

I don’t know who will step up. Miami is the obvious one especially now that Giannis is locked up.

And of course it is possible that Garland ends up being better. But as for who has the most value today? It is Herro. And I don’t think that is even debateable.

All that matters in the context of this conversation is who is more valuable today. Herro has shone more so far and they both probably have similar upside.
You don't think it's debatable but something tells me no GM has told you what he thinks of either player. Did you see Sexton becoming the guy he has become barely into his second season? I didn't.

And yet your post said I was overvaluing him.
Because I think you overvalue him if you thought a rebuilding team like the one we are discussing would want Kuzma for a guy like beal with KCP and schroeder going to a 3rd team.

Well it obviously happened sometimes.

But if you watch film on Draymond from 2016 and before, he kicked his leg on most contested drives to the rim. Usually the kick was nowhere near hitting anyone.
agree.....was talking more about his deliberate kicks to the nuts.

I said it was the best offer the Lakers could make. Never said it was good enough. So again, didn't overvalue anything. In fact, considering the chance I gave it happening would make it pretty obvious that I didn't think it was good enough.

Well I’m not jumping up and down to fight anyone, I was just responding to you saying he is a tough guy when we really don’t know that. All I’ve seen him do is take what most would consider cheap shots and from what Ive seen those guys generally back down when really confronted. Maybe he’s a bad ass, but that is not what he is putting out there that’s for sure. Let’s be real though, we aren’t going to see many nba guys go into mma.

Love my former Heat. Calling out Klay Thompson for the bitch he is and calling Draymond the fake tough guy THAT HE IS

Its funny they're talking about Mcgruder like he's a youngin. He's only a year younger than Dray and Klay.

I have more of an issue with Klay than draymond comment. Saying his career is done is just weak but McGruder would be wrong if he came out and said he hope Klay tears his other Achilles right?

Right.

Just like we don’t know that Kevin Love’s value went down after the extension?

We know. There is this think called common sense.
