The Wiz really are in a predicament.

Having Westbrook is really what prevents them from actually rebuilding. I just dont know how you can do it with that contract.

Hachimura, Advidja, and Bryant (who just got a serious injury), are young players with promise. They are going to get another high pick.

They obviously have Beal who is great and is a life-long Wiz player that is beloved. At 27 he is right in his prime.

I wonder if they could try and deal Westbrook- and take some bad money back that is shorter in years by 1 year. RW has this year, next year, and the following year at 47M for a player option- and hes not turning that down.

Their only other long term money is Bertans (which again flabbergasts me).

I guess a large part of it comes down to if Hachimura and Avdija become core pieces.

Id definitely have Jokic right there though- the Sixers have the best record in the East- and then they look lost without Embiid. One is top in the conference also at 14-6- the other team is 4th right now at 12-8

then you have LeBron/Kawhi (shit even George) a tick below those 2.

at some point too Donovan Mitchell has to start getting some respect too with what hte Jazz have been doing.

I have more of an issue with Klay than draymond comment. Saying his career is done is just weak but McGruder would be wrong if he came out and said he hope Klay tears his other Achilles right?

Imo you should have much more issue with Draymond. Klay was live on the air when that happened. Dudes say all kinds of crazy stuff in the heat of the moment. Remember just earlier this year how Booker was calling PG a bitch during the game. I’m sure he didn’t call him a bitch after the game.

Draymond had time to process and still went off. That’s way more assholish than Klay.

Starting to think they don’t train these refs anymore, watched a handful of games and it’s like they just blow the whistle randomly. They blow the whistle more on non-fouls and when a player actually is fouled they don’t call it.

1000 percent agree. I’m not defending Draymond or Klay. Just was weird assuming he was a pussy when like McGruder there’s no evidence to support it

But Klay didn’t do a sound bite for the game or a post game interview. He was on the broadcast as it was happening. People say crazy shit in the moment. I’m sure way worse stuff is said regularly by a lot of players in the league. Just they’re not on the broadcast live.
