Spacing would be an issue with Thanos too.

Not sure you could fit anyone else on the court.

This could be the worst trade in NBA history
Not really, no. The Clippers assembled a team that was every bit as much of a contender as the others, then got bad injury luck.

They traded future assets to win now, that's a typical win-win set up. I agree that was a LOT of future assets but LA pushed their chips in and took a reasonable bet. We want teams to go for it and when they do we roast them for it.

Here's the worst trade in NBA history...

In 1956 the St Louis Hawks traded Bill Russell (after picking him 2nd in the draft) to the Celtics for Ed McCauley and the #7 pick that year.

Here's a good list:

Who else does Sacramento have that they can offer? Hield and Halliburton aren’t value for Simmons.

Philly asking for a lot for Simmons. Golden State looks like the best option. Never trading someone like Fox who actually put in time to improve year after year for someone like Simmons who never cared about getting better and scared to attempt jump shots

That’s cool but you’re not in the front office of Sacramento which is apparently very interested in Simmons. Fox is the only player on that team that you could get a value match with. If they want to be in it that’s what it takes.

I have been thinking about it.

It could work.

Simmons could play the Iguodala role, but better.

Somebody has to come off the bench, not sure who, but Curry, Klay, Simmons, Dray and Wiggins is 1 hell of a death lineup.

That would work.

Would also be nice to somehow add a role player big who can shoot a little bit and be a 5th starter/7th man type.

I think you’re going to need a third team because the Warriors roster doesn’t really match up for what the Sixers would want coming back. If all they can get back for a Simmons is a Wiseman Oubre or Wiggins then it makes more sense to hold out on a 25 year old adding to his game. He’s still an All Star that averages 15,8,8 and is first team All NBA defense if he doesn’t improve at all. The value of those guys I mentioned from the Warriors would still be there next off season.
